So I’ve been slacking..

Let me start by saying this- Cole Welter slays- everything. Jumps, jibs, KFC- Everything.
Since apparently nobody owns a camera at mission ridge, there are no shots of Cole winning the spring shakedown last weekend, but hear me now- It happened. Hard. ***UPDATE. Nevermind, Video can be found here- Thanks to offaxis for the edit.
Up against some tough competition in the pro category (I keep forgetting he’s 16) Cole put it down and walked away on top!
Big shout outs to all daboyz for sending all day and making us proud and extra props to Levi for his first time riding back from knee surgery- nothing like starting slow with a backside rodeo..

Cole, Matt and the team sask boys are up all week lapping/building for the upcoming slopestyle comp.
I pick up Dong on the way, misread the one-hour time difference, Dong MISSES practices, shows up just in time for his run, Sends it, makes finals, wins. Easy right?
In all seriousness, Matt threw down, but couldn’t stomp the jump into finals, Cole didn’t fall ALL DAY, even in finals, yet still didn’t place? Robbed.
Dong came out absolutely clutch, last run, last rider, check this run-
Front two sev in, switch up to back board, two sev out on the down box, Stale gap to back board on the up-flat-down, nose grab tail tap on the rainbow, Corked front five on the jump, and to finish it off- front one in, SWITCH BACK FIVE out of the wallride/launch feature.
